CAITLIN MOFFATT
DANCER/ PERFORMER
Nickname: KK
Ethnicity: Australian
Role in RATED R: “The Mum”
INTRODUCTION:
Heya! I’m Caitlin, aka KK! By day I’m a support worker but by night, I’m a triple threat, singer, dancer and actor. Joined RATED R last year and it’s changed my life! Started in musical theatre and moved to do this was a huge step in a different direction, but was so worth it. What are your hobbies: Mostly love being a couch potato when I get the time. Eating is always fun, I love food.
Fun fact about myself:
Once you get to know me, I guarantee you’ll ask about my accent. I have an American accent but I’m not American. I have High Functioning ASD.
Strength/Weakness:
My strength is my dedication, when I’m given something to work on, I’m determined to nail it. My weakness is I can be a critique to myself when I mess up. But when you fall down, what else can you do except pick yourself back up again!
Dance style and abilities:
My style has a mixture of musical theatre and Jazz ballet. So I incorporated my experiences into Rated R bringing something smooth and sassy to the dance floor.
Life Inspiration and Motivation:
Setting goals for myself really motivates me. Whether it’s a small goal like getting out of bed in the morning or a big goal like making my way to Hollywood Knowing where I want to go is what helps me put one foot in front of the other to move forward in life.
Best Performance I have done:
The best performance I did was a theatre production at the end of 2021. I was apart of a dark comedy show called “The 39 Steps” at the Little Ipswich Theatre Company. There was 4 people in the cast including myself. The main lead, 2 clowns who played multiple characters through the show and I played 3 different lead female roles in the show. It was honestly the best show I’ve done, if I had the opportunity to go back in time to do it again, I’d gladly take the opportunity.
What I bring to Rated+R:
Heart, smiles, love for my sisters from different misters. Cool attitude and determination to work hard.
My vision and where I see myself in RATED+R:
I love this group so much and I want to see it to continue to grow and evolve. It’s incredible where we’ve gotten to now, and I’m so excited to see what happens in the future.
Where I see myself in 5 years time:
I honestly hope to be on a film set working long side some of my favourite actors. I know I have big ambitions for the future, hopefully I’ll make it there.
But we’ll see where life takes me.
